Assemblymember Talamantes Eggman Honors the Memory of the Orlando Nightclub Victims

(Sacramento) - The California State Assembly adjourned in memory of the 49 people murdered in an attack of a gay nightclub in Orlando on June 12, 2016. Assemblymember Susan Talamantes Eggman (D-Stockton), chair of the California Legislative LGBT Caucus, requested the adjournment, and spoke of the importance of safe spaces for the LGBT community and the corrosive effect of homophobia.
