Veterans have sacrificed a great deal for our country and deserve support upon their return. With nearly 2 million veterans living in our state, California is home to the largest veteran population in America. If you have served in the U.S. Military, you and your family may be entitled to benefits and services.
The County Veterans Service Office (CVSO) can connect you with services specific to you and your families needs, such as:
- Veteran DMV Driver's License/License Plate certification,
- Homeless, Housing, and Food Resources,
- Intent to File (ITF) documentation,
- Income verification letters,
- Records requests,
- California Tuition Fee Waiver Applications,
- Vocational Rehabilitation and Education Applications,
- Local, Veteran Non-Profit Emergency Aid resources,
- Application for VA Healthcare, and more.
Representatives at the CVSO are available to receive and return calls Monday - Friday from 09:00 - 16:00, and WALK-IN services are available Monday - Thursday, 09:00 - 16:00.
CVSO provides benefits and claims counseling by appointment only.
