2022 Holiday Open House and Toy Drive

Please join us for a Holiday Open House and Toy Drive at our new District Office. This will provide us with a great opportunity to learn more about each other and discuss issues that are important to yourself and our surrounding communities.
We will also be collecting gifts for my office to donate to local families this holiday season. If you can, please consider bringing a toy for children or a household essential like non-perishables or clothes that any family could use. You may also find bins my office has placed at businesses around the San Joaquin County that will be used to collect these in the meantime as well.
We hope you are able to join us for food and drinks provided by my office and fun conversations with local leaders about matters important to San Joaquin County.

She Dreams, so She Can
Please join us for our She Dreams, so She Can Young Women Empowerment Forum partnered with the San Joaquin County Office of Education. Hear from three different influences from our community regarding important opportunities in higher education for high school and college students, and how to successfully pursue a fulfilling career path.

Our three presenters will discuss their own career stories and trajectories, and opportunities for you to take advantage of:

- Gloria Nevarez, Commissioner at West Coast Conference
- Jessica Rocha, Legislative Assistant for Assemblymember Carlos Villapudua
Assemblymember Villapudua will also be sharing legislation impacting the field of education along with the funds he has prioritized for Cal Grant.
