SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Villapudua (D-Stockton) has been appointed to the following Assembly Select Committees for the 2021-22 regular session:
• Technology and the Future of California’s Agricultural Workforce (Chair)
• Cybersecurity
• Ports and Goods Movement
• Veteran Employment and Education
• Wine
“I am grateful to Speaker Anthony Rendon for these appointments and for giving the Central Valley a voice on many of the key issues that affect our state,” said Assemblymember Villapudua. “I look forward to participating in these gainful discussions that will cover policy items particularly significant to the 13th Assembly District.”
The platforms provided by our Select Committees help to deliver important conversations on the current state of affairs on a variety of issue areas critical to the wellbeing of Californians. Through these conversations, we seek to develop and enhance our current policy agenda so that it reflects the most up-to-date needs of the state as a whole.
