SACRAMENTO – Assemblymember Carlos Villapudua (D-Stockton) released the following statement today after the passage of key budget proposals focused on California’s business environment.
“The wellbeing of our business community and workforce continues to be a top priority in our efforts to stabilize and bolster California’s economy in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic,” said Assemblymember Villapudua. “Through the passage of these early budget action items, we are able to ease tax burdens, and provide further financial assistance for our small businesses that were waitlisted for the Small Business COVID-19 Relief Grant Program while ensuring we have the proper health and safety measures in place for our workforce to come back in full strength.”
