Assemblymember Rhodesia Ransom Advocates for Ignition Interlock Program to Curb DUI

Assemblymember Rhodesia Ransom, joint author of AB 366, joins Assemblymember Cottie Petrie-Norris to announce legislation that would expand the use of Ignition Interlock Devices (IIDs) across California. Representing San Joaquin County—where over 800 DUI-related crashes occurred in 2022—Asm. Ransom highlights the devastating impact impaired driving has on local families. AB 366 is a balanced approach that holds offenders accountable while allowing them to safely rebuild their lives. With over 32 states already leading the way, she calls on California to take action.
